Rhye - The Fall

Not much is known about this soulful LA duo reminiscent of a young Sade that seemed to have appeared out of thin air and release on of my favorite little EP’s of the year. 

Like me, you probably fell hard for Rhye after hearing their first single “Open.”All I can really say is that I wish the EP was more than three songs. I guess I’ll have to wait patiently like everyone else for their upcoming LP which has been rumored to drop in February 2013.

Aloe Blacc - I Need a Dollar

Hello, good morning! As you are sitting at your desk, catching up on all those emails just trying to make some dollars. Aloe Blacc will sing to you because just like you, he’s trying to make those dollars too. A nice soulful tune about something we all need.

Cee-Lo Green - Georgia //

While Danger Mouse is moonlighting with James Mercer in Broken Bells, Cee-Lo is stepping back by himself with this new song from his upcoming album The Lady Killer. I’m loving the old-time soul drums and horn section.  If he employs a full band, his next tour could be really fun.

Some New Badu For You! - Window Seat

Yesterday morning via Twitter Ms. Badu dropped another sweet single on us titled, “Window Seat” which you can take a listen to above.  Last week we posted “Jump in the Air and Stay There”.

We can’t wait to hear the full album, New Amerykah Part II: Return of the Ankh set to drop March 30th.
