Yellow Ostrich//WALE

I downloaded Yellow Ostrich, The Mistress a few months ago after hearing the song above “WHALE” somewhere on the inter-web.  Needless to say, I immediately fell in love.  After listening multiple times I wanted more so I decided delve in to the album which is a beautiful ten track compilation.  If you like Radiohead or Fleet of Foxes this album is a must.  It’s available on their bandcamp page for the pay what you want price.

Alex Schaaf, the creator of this project has decided to bring on Michael Tapper of We Are Scientists on drums and backing vocals for live performances of Yellow Ostrich. I’m sorry to say that I have not seen them live but, plan to in December.  Below is a taste of their album as well as some upcoming dates.  They also have a Kickstarter campaign is get the album pressed on to vinlyl and I’m sure after you take a listen you’ll want to contribute.
