Lana Del Ray - Video Games and Kinda Outta Luck//

My boyfriend just sent over these tracks with a little note that said “You’ll love her.” Oh, he knows me so well. Think Amy Winehouse meets Nancy Sinatra. As a matter of fact she has referred to herself as the “gangster Nancy Sinatra.” If she had been around when Pulp Fiction was being made I believe that her 50’s inspired pop ballads with that little twist of naughty she adds to it which was nearly non existent in that decade would have been a perfect fit for the soundtrack.

Her viral videos like the one above have seemed to pop up everywhere and have been racking up hits like nobodies business. Although she is beautiful it really seems to be the talent that is driving them. A nice refreshment from what usually makes a viral video popular.
